Trade Substitute Instructor

Provide career technical training instruction to students in accordance with approved curricula while managing the classroom environment and promoting learning in the absence of the regular instructor. Implement lesson plans, assign student work, maintain discipline, and take attendance to ensure compliance with dress code policies. Motivate and counsel students regarding behavior, personal problems, or study habits, while coordinating with counselors to resolve training issues. Ensure a safe, clean work area and enforce the Zero Tolerance Policy. Leave detailed reports on completed assignments and student behavior for the instructor. Requires substitute teaching certification or two years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and excellent communication skills. Part-time schedule at the Inland Empire Job Corps Center in San Bernardino, CA.
