Trade Sales Representative who builds and maintains relationships with builders, interior designers, remodelers, contractors, multifamily developers, and other trade professionals to drive business growth. Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities within residential construction, remodeling, and design communities; meeting with stakeholders to understand project requirements; recommending custom window treatment solutions; providing product expertise on blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and motorization; preparing proposals and project specifications; conducting site visits and field measurements; coordinating with installers and vendors to ensure on-time project execution; maintaining records of customer interactions and sales activity; and supporting the development of scalable sales processes, CRM implementation, and pipeline management. The role combines consultative sales, design support, and project coordination, with local travel in the greater Nashville area. Key skills include relationship-building, consultative selling, project coordination, product knowledge of window coverings, effective communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience required
  • Experience working with builders, contractors, architects, interior designers, or related trade professionals
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
  • Consultative selling approach with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Ability to learn technical product specifications and design applications
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
