Job Summary
Trade Operations Specialist for RNG trading support. Responsible for accurate trade execution, ensuring timely deliveries to registries, and creating PoSEs for clients. Maintains inventory and mass balances, tracks open deals, and supports trading strategies. Acts as main contact across Portfolio Managers, Contracts, Finance, Risk, Sustainability, Policy and Compliance to streamline information flow. Validates PoS and sustainability information, prepares documentation for audits, and manages transfers, redemptions, and expiring volumes across registries and countries. Works with front office and sustainability teams to align on strategies while driving regional/global efficiency and automation improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Quantitative studies, or another Quantitative discipline
- 2 to 5 years of working experience in a similar position within a trading environment or similar industry
- Basic understanding of commodity trading/financial markets
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables) and Exposure to VBA & Power Query is advantageous
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Based in Amsterdam and fluent in English
