Job Summary
Trade Marketing Manager role acting as the link between Brand Marketing and Sales, delivering tools, activations and insights to win in whisky retailers, online platforms, and on-trade across the UK, International markets and Private Clients. Responsibilities include developing and implementing Trade Marketing Plans, cross-functional collaboration with marketing and sales teams, building brands through trade marketing in drinks or premium goods, developing POS strategies and retail campaigns, in-store merchandising, project management across stakeholders, applying category management to drive growth, using trade marketing tools including CRM and marketing automation, and managing trade marketing budgets to optimize ROI. Permanent role, 36.25 hours/week, based in Elgin, Moray, UK with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Marketing or another relevant subject, supplemented by professional qualifications (e.g CIM)
- proven experience of developing and implementing Trade Marketing Plans
- Proven track record in cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in trade marketing in drinks industry or premium/luxury goods
- Expertise in POS strategies, retail campaigns, in-store merchandising
- Excellent project management with multiple stakeholders and timelines
- Knowledge of category management principles
- Proficiency in trade marketing tools; CRM and marketing automation advantageous
- Experience managing trade marketing budgets and optimizing resources
