Job Summary
Trade Foreman 2 supports construction activities for routine and non-routine projects, supervising a crew as a working foreman, reading and interpreting plans and shop drawings, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring safety and quality, guiding lean practices on site, and maintaining production goals and crew sizes to meet project needs. The role requires leadership to mentor team members, manage timecards and labor hours, coordinate inspections and punch lists, and oversee coordination between trades to ensure on-time project delivery. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are expected, along with the ability to apply Lean principles and manage resources and safety procedures on site.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years commercial construction experience
- 2+ years field supervision experience
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- May require periods of travel
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Reading and understanding plans, drawings and specifications
