Job Summary
Support Trade Credit underwriting activities to contribute to portfolio growth and profitability. Manage and develop a portfolio of brokers and clients, driving policy retention, renewals, and new business opportunities. Build strong relationships with brokers and customers, identifying commercial opportunities and delivering underwriting solutions aligned with business objectives. Provide technical and commercial support throughout the underwriting process, working closely with Credit Officers and internal teams. Monitor market trends, portfolio performance, and business opportunities to support the achievement of growth and profitability targets. Promote Trade Credit solutions in the market and help expand AIG's presence in target segments.
Required Qualifications
- Academic background in Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in financial statement analysis, credit underwriting, and portfolio management
- Proven commercial mindset, with experience developing broker relationships, retaining existing business, and generating new business opportunities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with brokers, clients, and C-level stakeholders
- Advanced English Skills
- Understanding of Trade Credit products and underwriting processes
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented profile, with strong organizational and project management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish is a plus
