Job Summary
Trade Counter Assistant responsibilities include providing customer service and product information to plumbers and tradespeople, quoting products in person and over the phone, performing pick packing and stock-control tasks, keeping the branch tidy and safe, and occasionally delivering to customers using a company vehicle. Ideal candidates have retail sales or customer service experience, can manage orders, maintain shop floor displays, are computer-literate and willing to learn new systems, hold a clean, valid driver’s license, and are available for varying shifts including weekends.
