Trade Controlling Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage the Trade Controlling function for LDC Hungary, partnering with management to drive financial performance, support commercial decision-making, and ensure risk awareness. Responsibilities include preparation of internal/external financial and management reports, development and implementation of policies, performing financial analyses, supporting the CFO with insights, coordinating monthly/quarterly/annual closings, identifying efficiency improvements, and coaching the Controlling team. Requires a university degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting, 7+ years in Trade/Commercial Controlling or Finance, proven people management, commodity trading experience, strong profitability analysis and financial reporting skills, advanced Excel, and fluency in Hungarian and English; capable of operating in a fast-paced international environment and collaborating across departments.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Trade Controlling, Commercial Controlling, Finance, or Accounting
- Proven people management experience
- Experience within a commodity trading environment
- Strong understanding of commodity trading processes, market dynamics, profitability analysis, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and business partnering skills
- Advanced MS Office knowledge, especially Excel
- Fluent Hungarian and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment
