Job Summary
Hybrid Trade Compliance Specialist responsible for ECCN and HTS classification of technology products and export license determinations under EAR, while maintaining classifications in ERP systems and preparing regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include reviewing product information for ECCN, determining HTS classifications and export license requirements for hardware, software, and services; researching classification and encryption levels using CCL/CROSS rulings and requesting CCATS; maintaining ECCN and HTS data in ERP systems; managing vendor classification price lists and upload files; identifying and resolving compliance holds to meet SLAs; creating SOPs and process flows; conducting compliance audits and preparing KPIs and trend reporting. Requires 3+ years in trade compliance, a Bachelor's degree, and strong Excel skills; experience with SAP GTS is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of trade compliance experience
- Working knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- ECCN classification proficiency with emphasis on encryption technology
- HTS classification proficiency across multiple country tariffs
- Intermediate MS Excel proficiency including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Experience with SAP GTS a plus
