Trade Compliance Specialist – Singapore (US Export Licensing Support)

Job Summary
Conduct export compliance reviews and monitor transactions for adherence to U.S. export regulations (EAR) and Singapore export controls. Prepare and review export documentation, manage licensing applications, and maintain accurate records in internal systems such as SAP GTS. Coordinate logistics operations with supply chain teams to ensure shipments meet regulatory requirements and support smooth execution. Analyze trade data using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to prepare reports for stakeholders and identify potential compliance risks. Collaborate cross-functionally with U.S. licensing teams and regional stakeholders to provide guidance, support training initiatives, and contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in: Export compliance
- 2+ years of experience in: Global trade operations
- 2+ years of experience in: Freight forwarding or logistics for international shipments/transactions
- Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR) and Singapore export controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel (data analysis and reporting)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint (presentations)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau is a plus
- Experience with trade compliance systems or ERP tools (e.g., SAP GTS) and screening tool is a plus
