Job Summary
Define HTS and ECN classification of finished goods, raw materials and other products; manage SAP/GTS data and contribute to internal classification audits, trainings, and cross-functional projects; assist with license applications and regulatory changes; perform research on product characteristics to support classifications; support trade compliance audits and reporting; interpret HTS/ECN legislation changes; collaborate with regional/global trade compliance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a Customs & Classification Environment.
- Working knowledge of the European Union Harmonized Tariff System (TARIC) and European Union Dual Use Regulations (ECN).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills.
- Solid communication skills in English.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to write and follow complex correspondence.
- Ability to read and understand visual aid.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Ability to understand basic manufacturing processes (EMS sector).
