Job Summary
Lead and provide expert guidance on core customs topics (e.g., Origin, Classification, Customs Valuation) with emphasis on tariff mitigation strategies such as First Sale for Export. Drive global strategies, collaborate with regional Trade Compliance teams and HP functions to maintain compliant procedures, monitor regulations, advise senior leadership, identify process-improvement opportunities, and deliver compliance-focused training. Act as escalation point for Global Trade topics and support audits and cross-functional initiatives while mentoring lower-level staff.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of global trade experience focusing on import and customs compliance activities
- Effective project management skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences and stakeholders
- Must be self-motivated and enjoy working in a global, multi-cultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to guide the implementation of International Trade compliance into global operations and supply chain models
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Data analytics skills and basic proficiency in AI capabilities
- Growth mindset
