Trade Compliance Specialist (Classification)

Job Summary
Work with Supplier Product Management to obtain original supplier trade classifications, including ECCN and HS Codes, and verify data against supplier websites and price books. Align classification data with US, EU, and Asia Dual-Use Control Lists, then determine appropriate HS Codes for new part creation. Maintain verified trade classification data in SAP (GTS), track updates, and ensure timely review of daily blocked transactions. Support business inquiries on licensing status, assist in developing Global Compliance procedures, and deliver training programs to the frontline team. Monitor emerging regulatory trends from US, EU, and Asian governments to impact trade classification initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline
- Preferably 2 years' experience in import/export customs and trade compliance operations
- Meticulous
- Ability to work independently
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Willing to learn
- Proactive SAP experience
- Ability to read the Chinese language
