Job Summary
Trade Compliance Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s export compliance program, ensuring compliance with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and CBP; serves as Empowered Official for ITAR licensing; conducts internal export compliance training; provides guidance on exports under ITAR and EAR including defense articles and dual-use items; prepares and submits ITAR and EAR licenses and classifications; conducts audits and voluntary disclosures.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in export controls
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- In depth knowledge of export jurisdiction, ECCN classification, licensing, exemptions and exceptions
- Solid understanding of import entry process with CBP and PGAs
- Experience with Technical Assistance Agreements and Technology Control Plans
- Familiarity with related U.S. regulations including OFAC, Antiboycott, BATFE, and FCPA
- Experience managing government contracts subject to ITAR compliance
- Must be a U.S. Person following ITAR regulations
