Job Summary

Conduct HTS classification and duty determination using GRI, Explanatory Notes, and CBP rulings while monitoring regulatory changes. Coordinate end-to-end import processes for high-volume transactions, manage classification databases, and audit vendor invoices for accuracy. Review product classification, valuation, and hazardous materials labeling to ensure compliance with CBP and Partner Government Agency requirements. Serve as the primary contact for shipment inquiries and participate in cross-training and professional development. Submit verified invoices for timely payment and perform additional duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have working experience of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), Explanatory Notes (EN), and US Customs regulations (19 CFR)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to assess and resolve issues efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Desired Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Customs Broker License
  • completion of a Customs Broker licensing course
  • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation
