Job Summary

Ensure compliance with regional, local, and U.S. export and import control laws by acting as a liaison among internal groups to protect the organization from fines and penalties. Provide import and export clearance support for inbound and outbound shipments while directing external freight forwarders, brokers, couriers, and internal shipping staff on clearance instructions. Determine and assign local export/import country and U.S. license requirements to orders blocked within trade compliance software, escalating complex cases to regional managers or department leaders for guidance. Process global supply chain partner reviews, including checks against government restricted or denied parties lists, to confirm decisions for partner release or block.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of applicable regional, local, and U.S. export and import control laws and regulations
  • Ability to determine and assign local export/import country and U.S. license requirements
  • Experience with trade control software
  • Ability to process global supply chain partner reviews
  • Experience reviewing government restricted / denied parties lists
  • Ability to confirm decision for partner release or block
  • Experience with Customer End Use And Export Compliance Certifications (EUC)
  • Experience with End User Statements
  • Ability to provide shipment clearance instructions on import and export transactions
  • Ability to direct external freight forwarders, brokers, and couriers
  • Ability to direct internal shipping/transportation staff
  • Ability to escalate orders to regional department Manager or Program Manager
  • Ability to escalate partners to regional department Manager or Program Manager
