Job Summary
Provide legal guidance on export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance; conduct thorough reviews of international trade transactions, agreements, and documentation to identify potential compliance risks; conduct investigations and draft voluntary disclosures; advise on trade compliance requirements and best practices; collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Vietnamese language proficiency
- Experience practicing law with a focus on international trade compliance, including familiarity with EAR, ITAR, FTR, and/or AFAC
- Strong knowledge of import and export controls, economic sanctions, customs regulations, and other relevant trade laws and regulations
- Ability to stay current on changes to trade laws and regulations, and advise management on potential impacts on business operations
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
