Job Summary
Drive tractor trailers safely and courteously from the distribution center to customer locations, ensuring correct loading and product delivery. Inspect vehicles before and after use, log inspections, and report requirements while troubleshooting malfunctions and maintaining equipment inventories. Direct material handlers during loading, complete preventative maintenance, and comply with DOT regulations and highway rules. Maintain records by completing driver logs and obtaining shipper and receiver authorizations. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00pm to 5:30am.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A
- At least one-year related delivery experience and/or training
- General knowledge of DOT regulations
- Proven history of safe driving
- Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills
- Diplomacy and discretion
- Customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and/or within a team
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team or independent environment
