Job Summary
Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain truck logs per DOT regulations, and perform preventive maintenance. Load, unload, and properly secure cargo including earthmoving equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic cylinders while adhering to contamination control procedures and hazardous material documentation. Operate lift trucks for loading and unloading, keep the truck clean and orderly, and maintain accurate work records. Drive day and night in customer shops or job sites, lifting up to 75 lbs, while complying with OSHA, MSHA, and company safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- strong mechanical aptitude
- prior experience hauling equipment and operating
- Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills
- Customer service skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computing skills
- Area specific technical training
- OSHA and MSHA required training
- Compliance training
- Lifting up to 75 lbs.
