Job Summary
Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain logs per DOT Regulations, and perform preventive maintenance on trucks. Load and unload cargo, properly secure loads, and ensure documentation including MSDS for hazardous materials is accurate. Operate machinery safely while adhering to 5-Star Contamination Control procedures and company safety regulations. Keep accurate records of all work and maintain a clean, neat truck. Drive extended periods day and night under all weather conditions, lifting up to 75 lbs. and operating equipment at customer, vendor, or company job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Prior experience hauling equipment and operating
- Experience using personal computers
- Basic typing skills
- Customer service skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computing skills
- Area specific technical training
- OSHA and MSHA required training
- Compliance training
- Lifting up to 75 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Individuals with prior experience hauling equipment and operating will be given stronger consideration
