Job Summary
Tractor Trailer Driver needed to transport store deliveries, donation pickups, and materials for Goodwill Central Texas. Responsibilities include safely operating a Class A tractor trailer on designated routes, loading/locking cargo, maintaining clear communication with dispatch, completing vehicle logs and inspection reports, performing daily maintenance checks, and upholding safety and operational protocols. Represent Goodwill Central Texas with professionalism and customer service excellence. Requirements include a valid Texas Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card, ability to communicate in English, physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environments, and eligibility for pre-employment background checks and drug screening. This is a full-time, non-supervisory position.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class A CDL
- DOT Medical Card
- Age 21+
- Ability to operate a Class A tractor trailer safely
- English communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/bend/twist for up to 8 hours
- Comfortable in non-climate-controlled environments
- Background check completion
- Pre-employment drug screening and road test
