Job Summary
Arrives on time, receives daily paperwork, and performs pre-trip inspections to ensure all truck systems are safe. Drives tractor trailers to load and unload commodities, using Moffett forklifts for flatbed loading and backing empty trailers into loading pits. Completes DVIR forms, records of load, and daily trip logs in accordance with federal regulations. When assigned, tarps full trailers, transports loads to processing sites, and hooks up replacement trucks for maintenance issues. Performs post-trip inspections and attends safety meetings. Requires Class A CDL with no air brake restrictions and one year of driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- No Air Brake Restrictions
- manual transmission endorsement
- valid USDOT medical card
- minimum of one (1) year Class A commercial driving experience
- ability to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below
- meeting insurability requirements
- ability to be subject to USDOT/FMCSA drug and alcohol testing regulations
