Job Summary
Diagnose and repair major and minor in-house reefer fleet equipment while rebuilding components and performing preventative maintenance inspections. Ensure all repairs comply with EPA and safety standards, complete repair orders with accurate labor and parts charging, and return unused parts to the parts room. Maintain a clean work area and attend all company training classes, retaining and demonstrating instructed skills. Perform additional duties and special projects as needed. Work various shifts and days in all climates, lifting at least 50 pounds and standing for long hours. Maintain proficiency in diagnosis and repair to meet fleet cost per mile goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education
- one year post high school training
- two plus years experience in tractor maintenance
