Job Summary
Fasten heavy attachments like graders, plows, and mowers to industrial tractors, adjust equipment, and perform minor repairs including tightening bolts and replacing washers. Maintain grounds on industrial, commercial, or public property by cutting grass, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and planting vegetation. Operate industrial grade tractors with batwing shredders within airfield controlled areas and manage fertilizer or insecticide application. Pick up and remove litter, water plants, and adhere to safety, security, and property control procedures. Requires high school education, one year of tractor operation experience, and ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- High school education or GED.
- 1 year relevant work experience operating industrial grade tractors and batwing shredders within a commercial grounds keeping environment.
