Job Summary
Conduct daily track maintenance operations including cutting rails, replacing ties, aligning track, clearing vegetation, lubricating switches, and installing crossings. Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, tampers, or graders to repair and maintain rail infrastructure. Work outdoors with a crew following morning safety briefings, ensuring all track meets strict standards before trains pass. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and high school diploma or GED. Schedule Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with competitive pay starting at $22/hour.
