Job Summary
Perform track repairs and rebuilds using power and manual tools, including removing spikes, drilling rail holes, replacing ballast, and installing fasteners. Operate electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools such as drills, saws, jacks, and grinders while lifting and moving rail materials. Assist with re-railing derailed railcars and execute other duties required to support safe and efficient track operations. This full-time day shift role (some weekends required) offers paid on-the-job training and is open to those with a valid driver's license or TWIC card. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- valid Driver's License
- valid TWIC card
