Job Summary
Track Maintenance Crew handles operation of small dump trucks, tractors, and other maintenance vehicles to maintain a safe, orderly environment; enforces safety rules; maintains professional relations with guests and team members; communicates effectively with staff and guests; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Wilmington, DE area; requires one year of equipment-operations experience and a valid driver’s license; background check required; ability to lift 50 lbs; wear company uniform; able to work in varied weather and fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of equipment operations experience (tractors, dump trucks)
- Prior experience with small hand tools, a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to successfully complete the background check
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty
- Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp as needed
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Assignments covering large areas with long walking distances
- Work areas could have high volumes, diverse clientele, and noise
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management is mandatory
- Must be able to wear and appear comfortable in the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park
- Must be able to work in all weather elements, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation
- Ability to read, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position
- Horse or livestock handling experience helpful, but not necessary
