Track & Field Graduate Assistant

Job Summary
Assist with the development and implementation of training plans for designated track & field event groups during indoor and outdoor seasons; coach student-athletes during practices and meets; recruit prospective student-athletes in compliance with NAIA goals; participate in event scheduling, budget management, equipment procurement, meet management, and fundraising; ideally experienced in high jump, long jump, triple jump, and/or throws (discus, shot put, javelin, weight throw, hammer); perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor; located in Yankton, SD with Mount Marty Athletics.
Required Qualifications
- Must be accepted into Mount Marty University Masters of Education Coaching Leadership Program
- GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Three letters of reference from a supervisor, coach, professor/colleague
- 1-2 page essay explaining purpose, goals, and commitment to the coaching program
