Job Summary
Track & Field Assistant Coach – LHS responsible for mentoring students in athletics, developing training programs, providing instruction and feedback, fostering team cohesion, planning competitions, and ensuring compliance with district standards. Requires leadership, effective communication, willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel with the team, and adherence to MSHSAA guidelines. Must maintain certifications and background checks and support sportsmanship and character development in an inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate 2 or more years prior
- AED/ CPR/ First Aid Certified (preferred)
- Annual MSHSAA training requirements
- Excellent professional references
- Clean criminal and child abuse and neglect records check
