Trach/ Wound Care Nurse

Responsible for trach changes, trach tie changes, and wound care per physician's orders. Administers and charts treatments and medications, maintains a clean treatment cart, and monitors patients' healing processes. Communicates effectively with team members, documents care activities and patient statuses, and participates in quality improvement activities. The role requires an understanding of the IL Nurse Practice Act and includes managing potential patient problems effectively.
