Job Summary
Oversee the implementation and evaluation of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Alliance program deliverables, ensuring at least 500 students are served annually. Serve as the liaison between teens, families, and community stakeholders to promote healthy choices and decrease risky behaviors among youth ages 10-19. Provide a minimum of three presentations or community outreach events quarterly and collaborate with community partners to ensure collective impact through meetings, training, and activities. Coordinate the development and implementation of evidence-based lesson plans and workshops while implementing quality assurance evaluations of contract requirements including the Teen Summit, Faith Events, and TOP Classes. Work with Wyman and Heartland for Children to implement selected curricula and increase youth leadership participation in TPPA activities. Prepare, monitor, and submit program budgets and documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience teaching, educating, and mentoring youth
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree (BA or BS preferred) or equivalent experience preferred in Human Relations, Health Field, Education, or Health Administration
- Strong facilitation skills and presentation skills, preferred
- Knowledge of data collection software helpful
- Training in Adolescent Health Education, preferred
- Interpersonal skills requiring courtesy, tact, confidentiality, and empathy always, to communicate effectively and convey information to callers, visitors, and co-workers
- Responsible, enthusiastic, and energetic individual capable of working independently as well as within a team structure
- Knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Canva, and budgets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong client engagement skills
- Knowledge about the local communities is desirable
