Job Summary
Conduct constant hourly Duty Rover checks to ensure vessels are securely moored, monitor alarms, and verify shore power breakers, battery charging, and bilge pump operation. Inspect floodable spaces for fluid, assess gangway and pier conditions, and report discrepancies to competent authorities. Respond to afterhours emergencies, recall maintenance personnel as needed, and report security violations. Requires Kings Bay Access badge, security clearance, and valid driver's license. Located at Kings Bay, GA Submarine Base.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and hold a Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain a Kings Bay Access badge
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a Pre-Employment Physical Examination
- Pass a Drug Test
