Job Summary
Develop mission-critical air traffic and airport operational systems using TPFC, TPFDF, Assembler, and SPM on IBM System z TPF platforms. Handle high-priority production incidents involving real-time interactions between TPF systems and airport operations. Troubleshoot complex application and system problems within the TPF environment using the TPF Toolkit for development, debugging, testing, and deployment. Create and maintain XML queries to support application functionality and data processing requirements. Collaborate with business and operational teams to support flight operations, scheduling, availability management, and airport processes. Analyze and process air-specific message standards, including Type A and Type B messages, while supporting communication workflows between airports, airlines, and airlines. Contribute to application enhancements, maintenance activities, and system modernization initiatives to ensure reliability, performance, and operational continuity in a dynamic aviation environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 jaar ervaring in TPF-applicatieontwikkeling en support
- Sterke hands-on expertise in TPFC, TPFDF, TPF-concepten, Structured Programming Language (SPM) en Assembler
- Ervaring met TPF Toolkit voor ontwikkel- en troubleshootingactiviteiten
- Sterk inzicht in IBM System z TPF-omgevingen en realtime transactieverwerkende systemen
- Ervaring met het opstellen en uitvoeren van XML-query's
- Kennis van vluchtoperaties, luchtvaartschema's, beschikbaarheidsbeheer en luchthavenoperaties
- Inzicht in luchthavenafhandelingsprocessen en operationele workflows van luchtvaartmaatschappijen
- Kennis van communicatieprocessen tussen luchtvaartmaatschappijen en tussen luchthavens en luchtvaartmaatschappijen
- Ervaring met luchtvaartberichtstandaarden, waaronder Type A- en Type B-berichten
- Sterke analytische, troubleshooting- en probleemoplossende vaardigheden
- Uitstekende communicatie-, presentatie- en stakeholdermanagementvaardigheden
- Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en het vermogen om effectief te communiceren in meertalige omgevingen
