Job Summary
Lead daily operations at the Toys"R"Us Flagship Tanger San Marcos store by recruiting, training, and retaining an associate team focused on sales targets and a cheerful, stimulating environment. Execute visual merchandising standards and marketing strategies in partnership with the visual merchandising team while coaching staff on anticipating customer needs and creating an animated, appealing store atmosphere. Manage store supply inventory, evaluate sales and staffing budgets, and ensure day-to-day schedules align with business needs to deliver a positive customer experience. Analyze key performance indicators to make real-time business decisions, establish strategic plans to drive sales increases, and hold associates accountable for sales contributions and total store performance. Maintain loss prevention protocols and safety standards while communicating product insights and constructive feedback to Home Office partners.
Required Qualifications
- BA, BS or Associate's degree
- Proven successful experience as a retail store manager with sales focus
- A solution-oriented leader with a sense of innovation and curiosity
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention
- Proficient computer skills
- POS experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including but not limited to holidays, nights, and weekends
- Ability to manage a sales floor by delegating tasks effectively, ensuring the sales floor remains appropriately stocked and visually merchandised stocked, Associates are Customer-focused and store atmosphere is reflective of Toys'R'Us

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred professional experience – minimum 2 years in at least one of the below: Retail, Hospitality or Event execution management, Primary or Secondary Education Teaching
- Self-motivated, accountable, responsible and open to feedback
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention is preferred
- Experience in behavioral coaching, conflict management, training and development is a plus
- Microsoft office
