Job Summary
Lead daily store operations at the Tippecanoe Mall location by executing sales plans, managing budgets, and ensuring flawless visual merchandising standards. Recruit, train, and coach the associate team to deliver a cheerful, customer-centric experience while driving KPIs and sales targets. Collaborate with Home Office functions on promotions and events, analyze performance data for real-time decisions, and maintain strict safety and loss prevention protocols.
Required Qualifications
- BA, BS or Associate's degree
- Proven successful experience as a retail store manager with sales focus
- A solution-oriented leader with a sense of innovation and curiosity
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention
- Proficient computer skills
- POS experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including but not limited to holidays, nights, and weekends
- Ability to manage a sales floor by delegating tasks effectively, ensuring the sales floor remains appropriately stocked and visually merchandised stocked, Associates are Customer-focused and store atmosphere is reflective of Toys'R'Us

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred professional experience – minimum 2 years in at least one of the below: Retail, Hospitality or Event execution management, Primary or Secondary Education Teaching
- Self-motivated, accountable, responsible and open to feedback
- Experience in behavioral coaching, conflict management, training and development is a plus
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention is preferred
