Job Summary
Lead daily store operations by recruiting, training, and retaining a team to deliver sales targets while maintaining a cheerful, stimulating environment. Execute visual merchandising standards and marketing strategies in partnership with the visual merchandising team, ensuring the sales floor remains stocked and visually appealing. Coach associates on anticipating customer needs, product knowledge, and selling skills to drive increases in KPIs and total store performance. Analyze real-time business data to make informed decisions, establish strategic plans, and evaluate store budgets for payroll and staffing. Protect company assets through loss prevention protocols and safety standards while managing supply inventory. Communicate customer insights and constructive feedback to Home Office partners regarding events and product presentation.
Required Qualifications
- BA, BS or Associate's degree
- Proven successful experience as a retail store manager with sales focus
- A solution-oriented leader with a sense of innovation and curiosity
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention
- Proficient computer skills
- POS experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including but not limited to holidays, nights, and weekends
- Ability to manage a sales floor by delegating tasks effectively, ensuring the sales floor remains appropriately stocked and visually merchandised stocked, Associates are Customer-focused and store atmosphere is reflective of Toys'R'Us

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred professional experience – minimum 2 years in at least one of the below: Retail, Hospitality or Event execution management, Primary or Secondary Education Teaching
- Self-motivated, accountable, responsible and open to feedback
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention is preferred
- Experience in behavioral coaching, conflict management, training and development is a plus
- Microsoft office
