Job Summary
Open and close the store, manage the cash register, and prepare nightly cash deposits. Greet every customer on entry, execute the Five Steps to a Sale, and offer current promotions. Operate the Point of Sale system accurately while maintaining visual merchandising standards and resetting features. Receive and place new shipments, complete regular housekeeping tasks, and ensure the store is organized. This part-time role requires up to 20 hours per week, with weekends and evenings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- One year of retail experience (or experience related in this field)
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention
- Basic computer skills, POS system and Microsoft office
- Able to perform basic math functions
- Flexible and strives in fast paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
