Job Summary
Greet every customer on entry and execute the Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity. Operate the Point of Sale system accurately while offering current promotions and managing sales. Maintain a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards by receiving shipments, resetting features, and completing regular housekeeping tasks. Open and/or close the store as scheduled, preparing cash banks and making nightly deposits. This part-time role requires up to 20 hours per week, including weekends and evenings as needed. Go! Retail Group, the parent company of Toys"R"Us Flagship, operates 200 year-round stores and 600 seasonal locations nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- One year of retail experience (or experience related in this field)
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention
- Basic computer skills, POS system and Microsoft office
- Able to perform basic math functions
- Flexible and strives in fast paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
