Job Summary
Diagnose and repair Toyota vehicles across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, and HVAC systems using OEM procedures and diagnostic platforms. Perform multi-point inspections, develop accurate repair plans, and execute fixes to factory specifications with zero shortcuts. Complete repair orders precisely, conduct test drives to validate conclusions, and maintain a clean, safe workstation throughout every shift. Stay current on technical service bulletins and manufacturer procedures while contributing to a culture of quality and accountability. Requires 2+ years of flat-rate dealership experience; Toyota brand experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of flat-rate technician experience in a franchised dealership
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the role throughout the shift
Desired Qualifications
- Toyota brand experience
- Toyota Techstream or equivalent diagnostic platform experience
- ASE certifications
- Toyota factory certifications
- Low comeback rate
- A quality standard that doesn't require managing
- Strong diagnostic foundation
- Experience with Honda, Subaru, Nissan, Mazda, domestic brands, or other import backgrounds
