Job Summary

Inspect, diagnose, and identify work needs on various vehicles, then perform adjustments, calibrations, fluid replenishment, and component repairs. Document all work and hours per manufacturer and dealership policies, and road test vehicles to ensure quality and issue resolution. Use independent judgment to make decisions while operating a wide variety of automatic and manual transmission vehicles. This role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds, and frequent use of hand and power tools in an indoor shop environment. Candidates must have at least two years of dealership or independent shop experience, ASE certifications are preferred, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

Required Qualifications

  • minimum of two years previous mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop
  • ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions
  • valid driver license
  • good driving record

Desired Qualifications

  • ASE certifications
