Job Summary
Toxicologist with 10+ years of experience sought to join Robson Forensic as a Forensic Toxicology Expert. Responsibilities include investigating cases involving toxicology, analyzing complex exposure scenarios, writing scientifically sound reports, and providing expert testimony. The role emphasizes applying deep toxicology knowledge to litigation, collaborating with respected experts, and continuous professional growth. Hybrid work arrangement in Las Vegas, NV and Irving, TX with roughly 20% travel. Requires a Ph.D. in toxicology (broad discipline training), preferred board certification (ABFT/DABT), and a background in mechanistic toxicology research. Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in toxicology with broad training in toxicology/chemistry/biology/physiology/pathology
- Postdoctoral training and research in toxicology preferred
- Board certification in toxicology (preferred) such as ABFT or DABT
- Member of an organization with a toxicology focus (e.g. SOFT or SOT)
- 10+ years of experience in toxicology; mechanistic-oriented human clinical or animal research preferred
- Experience in industry/government exposure a plus; for academic backgrounds, active involvement in a toxicology program, competitive funding, and teaching responsibilities are desirable
- Willingness to travel ~20% for training; ability to work independently and within a team
- Clean background screen and driver’s license required
- No prior forensic experience required but preferred
- Strong analytical/report writing and expert testimony skills
