Montessori Classroom Assistant for Grades 4-5 supports students through Montessori-based activities, in small groups and one-on-one. Responsibilities include assisting a certificated teacher, reinforcing instruction, monitoring student progress, and providing emotional support. Duties also cover a range of classroom tasks: clerical support, preparing materials, grading, maintaining student records, facilitating lesson plans, and ensuring student health and safety. The role requires the ability to sit on the floor with students, strong work ethic, and motivation to help students succeed; probationary period applies and internal mobility rules may apply.
