Job Summary
Tower Tech III role requiring installation of antennas and mounts, cable ladders, and microwave/cellular systems. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling work, ensuring crew safety and quality workmanship, supervising PPE inspections, completing time sheets, maintaining company vehicles, mentoring tower hands, and traveling up to 3–6 weeks at a time. Must be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work long hours in varying weather. Required knowledge includes OSHA 30, competent climber/rescue, DOT driver qualifications, and tower construction/maintenance experience; CDL Class A certification is a plus. Frequent field work and hands-on installation with emphasis on safety and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- CDL Class A certification a plus
- Ability to pass a background check for government security clearances
- OSHA 30
- Competent Climber
- Competent Rescue
- First Aid/CPR
- DOT driver qualifications
- Physical ability to climb towers and lift 50lbs+
- Travel up to 70% with extended stays
- Experience with antennas, mounts, cable ladders, and telecom infrastructure
