Job Summary
Tower Technician responsible for constructing and deploying wireless infrastructure. Perform tower construction activities including assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas and coax, grounding, testing, and optimizing antennas and lines. Read and interpret plans, site plans, and tower drawings; install and test grounding systems; plan and mobilize materials to meet schedule; coordinate with Tower Crew Lead and Superintendent; maintain safety practices per SBA and OSHA; complete required training (Tower U/TS&R); willingness to travel and work overtime; inspect and address punch items before client inspection; support multiple projects remotely in field locations with a focus on teamwork and safety. Must be able to climb tall towers, use test equipment (RF sweep gear, PIM, fiber testing), and operate a company vehicle; physical requirements include standing most of the day and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma/GED preferred
- 1+ years of tower climbing experience
- Ability to climb to heights up to 500 feet
- Knowledge of knots and ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Ability to operate test equipment (RF sweep gear, PIM, fiber testing preferred)
- Domestic travel 90% of the time
- Valid government issued driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Able to work overtime including weekends and evenings
- Ability to pass drug test for safety-sensitive role
