Job Summary
Tower Technician responsible for safe, high-quality installation and maintenance of telecommunications towers and related equipment. Duties include rigging, hoisting, leveling, installing masts, clamps, antennas, RRUs, cabling, grounding, testing, labeling, and documentation per piping diagrams and job specs. Role requires climbing towers up to 400 feet, performing weather-proofing, color-coding, and safeguarding leads; assisting with vehicle and tool maintenance; and providing white-glove customer service. Travel may be required; OSHA 10 certification is a plus. Emphasizes safety, quality, continuous learning, and working across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Read and understand construction drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures
- Willing to work independently under limited supervision
- Provide communication and customer service that is white-glove
- Must be able to meet physical requirements including ability to climb and work at heights up to 400 feet
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
- Pass pre-employment screening including background and drug testing
- Possess OSHA 10hr certification (a plus)
- Must be able to travel out of market/state for extended periods
- Ability to perform safety-critical tasks and follow safety and quality guidelines
