Required Qualifications

• •High school diploma or GED equivalent
• •Must have and maintain a valid driver license
• •Must have a valid driver's license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy
• •Must pass a drug screening test
• •Must pass in-house training program
• •Must be able to climb tall structures up to 500 feet with a load
• •Must be able to pull own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly
• •Must be able to lift equipment into position safely, using rigging tools or equipment such as capstan hoist
• •Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
• •Must be able to climb ladders and communication towers
• •Must be able to work in an elevated position that is +/- 500 feet
• •Must be able to work in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind
• •Must be able to work in proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles
• •Must be able to work in high noise level
• •Must be able to use PPE
• •Must be able to work alone and working closely with others
• •Must be able to work in a stationary position for 8-10 hours a day

• •Must be able to communicate orally and in writing
• •Must be able to take site photos or photos of work performed
• •Must be able to take images needed to address work issues
• •Must be able to transport equipment to work sites, using utility trucks and equipment trailers
• •Must be able to run appropriate power, ground, fiber, Cat5e and/or coaxial cables
• •Must be able to check antenna positioning to ensure specified azimuths or mechanical tilts and adjust as necessary
• •Must be able to inspect telecommunications equipment to identify problems
• •Must be able to adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance
• •Must be able to inspect completed work to ensure all hardware is tight, antennas are level, hangers are properly fastened, proper support is in place, or adequate weather proofing has been installed
• •Must be able to inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning
• •Must be able to analyze situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action
• •Must be able to complete reports related to outages, project status, progress, or other work details, using phone and computer software
• •Must be able to work with basic hand tools
• •Must have basic computer skills
