Tower Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Install Automatic Identification System (AIS) receivers, radars, ADS-B antennas, security cameras, and communications sets on towers and buildings across remote international locations. Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate solutions for customer requirements, including evaluating power needs and site preparations. Provide technical support for electronic equipment, perform on-site repairs, and train personnel on system operation. Review and prepare engineering reports, change proposals, and technical documentation. This role supports the RMAC program within the Department of Defense, requiring US citizenship, a Secret clearance, and a current Tower Climber certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance level
  • Must possess a current passport
  • Must possess a current Tower Climber certification
  • Must be able to travel to austere, OCONUS locations
  • Must have hardware and software experience with multi-domain awareness systems, or other similar complicated sensor-based systems
  • Must have strong technical background with computer system administration, network administration, and general understanding and the ability to install/troubleshoot most of the following types of systems: VHF/HF communications systems, video systems, radars, AIS, ADS-B, microwave communications systems and satellite communication systems
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, to include Excel, Project and Visio, to develop system architectures and to manage technical efforts in support of this program
  • Must have experience working in remote locations
  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience associated with technical functions as related to development of system architecture for sensor systems
  • BA/BS degree and applicable experience must be in engineering, computer science or other technical field
  • Six (6) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
