Tower Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct telecommunications tower and rooftop inspections and mapping while collecting accurate field measurements and data. Build reports based on field data and catalog site information, then create loading charts for audits and tower analysis. Support Engineering staff with field validation and document management, working with project managers to ensure schedules and timelines are achieved. Perform office work alongside travel to various sites throughout the region, including extended periods away. Requires climbing telecommunication towers and working at heights in all seasons, a valid driver license with a clean record, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Experience climbing telecommunication towers and working at heights in all seasons
- Valid driver license w/ clean driving record
- Willingness to travel for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and efficiently write technical reports and can collect accurate field measurements and data
- Proficient AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word &Excel etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and clients
- Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attituded
Desired Qualifications
- CET or EIT is considered an asset
- Experience in Tower Rigging, Surveying or Construction is considered an asset
