Job Summary

Lead and direct a crew of 2-4 members on daily telecommunication site construction, supervising subcontractors and job site personnel to complete assigned scopes of work safely and timely. Schedule employee work hours, direct project techniques, and control material flow while maintaining detailed job records and managing budgets within Betacom tools. Perform full tower inspections, troubleshoot installation issues, and capture closeout packages, ensuring crew compliance with safety requirements and inspecting all tools and rigging gear. Provide recommendations for hiring, training, and employee advancements, and handle employee complaints or discipline per company policy.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years or more of related tower and construction experience and/or training
  • Good communication skills, reading and writing skills (English)
  • Good computer skills
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must be able to accommodate out of town travel, if required
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment
  • ComTrain, OSHA30, RF Awareness Training, First AID/CPR trained
  • Must have experience with Anritsu Site Master, Andrew, PPC, tower mapping and antenna equipment
  • Must have experience stacking self-support towers, installing waveguide, antennas, and microwave dishes
  • RF Awareness, replacement, and maintenance i.e., coax, jumpers, TMA's, connectors, and weatherproofing
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and regulatory personnel
  • Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
  • Must be able to climb or balance
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must have close vision
  • Must have distance vision
  • Must have color vision
  • Must have peripheral vision
  • Must have depth perception
  • Must have the ability to adjust focus
