Job Summary
Tow Truck Operator responsible for responding to service calls, safely towing vehicles, and providing roadside assistance with a focus on professional customer service. Drive in various weather conditions, load/transport/unload vehicles, perform services such as jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel delivery, conduct daily vehicle inspections, adhere to safety procedures and traffic regulations, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. Must be able to work night, weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts; CDL preferred but not required; requires lifting up to 50 pounds and ability to work outdoors. Required Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Clean driving record
- Previous towing, transportation, automotive, or roadside assistance experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
- Must pass a background check and drug screening, if required
